Griffith Elder's Ton-Tel™ Biogas Software is tailored to meet the needs of the Biogas industry, which uses energy crops as a feed input. The software drastically reduces the cycle time from forager to clamp, whilst combining ease of use with data collection.
Biogas - Features
Nett weight recalculation from true dry matter input.
Tickets are auto completed from previously applied data.

Set associations of supplier, crop and other data to limit user error.
Import data from CSV or Excel.
Versatile reporting capabilities.
Sync data from multiple sites to a central office.
Stable weight reading to populated weighbridge ticket in an instant.
Simple to Operate
The Ton-Tel™ Biogas Software is designed for ease of use. In order to limit the likelihood of operator error, set associations can be made between for example; supplier, crop type, crop variety, clamp.
With a driver identification system in place, bulk changes can be applied, such as change in crop variety. When a weight is obtained by a means other than the associated weighbridge, it can be entered manually by an operator with sufficient privileges.
When a trailer load is sourced from two different fields, the proportion of crop that was harvested from each field can be split and then added to the system. The weights from that field can then be automatically calculated to maintain accurate field yield records.
Unfinished tickets will remain in the uncompleted tickets box, which is featured on the main screen so that they are easy for the operator to access. With a vehicle identification system in place, the software will automatically bring up a ticket that is populated with the relevant data ready to capture a steady weight.
Dry Matter Calculation
The analysis of the dry matter content need not slow down the weighing operation at the plant, as the target dry matter values can be applied in loads. The net weight values are then calculated. Later on when dry matter analysis test results become available, true dry matter values can be applied to the tickets, and the corrected net weights will be automatically recalculated.
Ton-Tel™ Software uses a three tier password protection scheme allowing Operators to create tickets and Managers to create reports whilst providing limited access to settings. Administrators have full privileges to the settings and functions.
Powerful Reporting Function
The reporting function is user defined, templates can be created and tickets can be selected based on criteria such as date, vehicle, ticket number, supplier and crop variety.
Central Office Software
Weighbridge stations can be networked, and a central database set-up in order to collate data from various operational sites. Reports can be compiled from multiple sites. Tickets from the individual sites can also be viewed and edited with a full audit trail.
A wide range of peripherals are available, such as: traffic lights and barriers for controlled traffic flow; large displays for vehicle weight readings; and tag, ANPR or fob systems for vehicle identification.
